Killrights lasting forever - CCP play sick joke!

We have been told time and time again that killrights last for a LIMITED time, then they expire. What is going on!?!? Lets have some feedback from the Eve community on this subject please!

Coconut Joe - I fail to see what that thread has to do with CCP changing it's mind about killright expiration at all. Maybe I missed something after reading it 3 times to make sure, but I'm fairly confident it doesn't mention killrights having a LIMITED time period, then changing to killrights having an INFINITE time period. What THIS thread is about is complaining to CCP, trying to gather support on a 'feature' that is changed by CCP without prior notice, that affects the ENTIRE game experience for a group of players. I actually think killrights are a WORTHWHILE feature, and definately adds a bit of spice to pirating or whatever you like to do. It is not KILLRIGHTS that is the problem here - the problem being that we were all told that they would expire after a period of time.

I just happen to ask CCP for a definative answer. This thread is discussing the viable question about the expiration period of killrights - nothing else.

Usually the best way to find out, and if the GMs don't know if they are allowed to fix it, they'll send it to the devs. You don't get warnings or bans for silly petitions. There'd be so few people left in game in that case. Just don't spam them ;) I have now petitioned it, awaiting an answer on that one, have included this thread URL as well, quoting Mephysto. It would still be nice to have an answer on this thread though - especially as so many people have read it! (thread read 1526 times at the last count!) So come on CCP - you answered me earlier - why not answer me on this question?
